Notary Public of America

Nebraska Notary Bond

Nebraska Notary Bond

The State of Nebraska requires notaries to purchase a notary bond. A notary bond is a surety bond that protects the public against any wrongdoing on the part of a notary. The notary bond will compensate an individual harmed as a result of errors or mistakes performed by a Nebraska notary.

The Nebraska notary bond is a $15,000 bond and is valid throughout your 4-year notary commission in the State of Nebraska. In addition to the notary bond, it is also required that a Nebraska notary obtain a state-approved notary seal and pay a $30 state filing fee. The notary bond, state filing fee, and a notarial seal are available in our premier notary package.
